Outfit Ideas...

I know its ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to find cute boy clothes out there. However, I have found some outfits that I love, and because I'm nice, I will share them with you! ;) I connected links to each item, but some aren't available anymore. The links should help you have an idea of where to find something similar though.

My Favorite Outifit of his!!!
This cardigan is the cutest thing ever, I got it for my baby shower from my niece. I love the elbow pads!  They have an almost identical one at H&M now! Below is the direct link. ;)
The jeans are my fav too! They fit him perfectly, with an adjustable waistband.

Cardigan: H&M
Jeans: Hudson Jeans
Sunglasses: Carters

Such a good basic t-shirt… and oh so soft!

Raglan T: American Apparel

He was running away from me when I was trying to take a pic of this outfit, so sorry its not very clear. But I am obsessed with his little skinny jeans. I love the slim fit jeans on babies, because it shows off how small they really are.  ;)

Skinny Jeans: H&M
(I bought mine in the store, couldn't find the skinnies online)
Grey Thermal: Kohls
Shoes: Toms

It's so hard to find plain T shirts!

I found mine at Nordstrom Rack
Shorts: baby GAP

This shirt came with the tie!

Shirt and Tie: Sovereign Code, Nordstrom
Jeans: Hudson Jeans

Casual and Comfy!

Shirt: H&M
Jeans: Zara Baby

I LOVE this shirt. I think he looks like a cute little mini "lumberjack"

Pants: H&M skinnies

1 year Cake Smash

I had the most difficult time trying to find the right props for my son's 1 year cake smash photos. I found a few cute banners on Etsy, but ended up finally finding a cute tie, and making a cake from a design I saw on Pinterest. Pinterest is the best invention ever! If you wanna follow me on Pinterest, click here.  I have found so many great ideas on there…maybe even TOO MANY!

I loved how my photos turned out. Juls Megill Photography did an amazing job, and was able to capture my son beyond my expectations! Thank you Julie! Click on her name for a direct link to her Facebook page.

I love the crystal clear up close shots!

Baby Gear

Here are some of the items I own, and the links of where I found them. I purchased them with the intent of having them last through 2 children, whether I had a boy or girl next.

Car seat: Graco - SnugRide 30 Infant Car Seat, Metropolis  $118 at Walmart. It is plain black. You have to make sure its "adaptable" to the stroller you are getting (Thats the tricky part!) There are other stores that carry this same EXACT carseat for more $. A penny saved is a penny earned!

Pack'n'play: Graco Pack-n-play Playard, Hudson $99.99 at Target. I like that this has a removable bassinet in it. Ryder slept in there comfortably in our room for the first couple months. I still use this for him to sit and play with toys, especially if I need to do dishes, fold laundry, etc. You can put a playard sheet over the bottom to have a different accent color, instead of the green. The star mobile is also easily detachable. We never used it.

Highchair: Graco Duodiner Highchair, Hudson $139.99 at Target. 3 in 1 high chair. It begins as a reclining infant high chair, converts into a toddler seat, then to a booster. I have taken the cushion off and thrown them in the washer to clean, its super easy. Obviously the print is cute too! The front cushion comes off too, if you don't want the green.

Stroller: Bob Revolution SE Stroller, Black $449 On sale now at Babies "R" Us for $349. This stroller is AWESOME! We couldn't be any happier. We take it everywhere! It's built to go on the sand and rough terrain, and is a smooth ride for the baby and me. It has great shocks, and is so easy to push. Its a little awkward to lift into the car, and you have to buy the car seat adaptor and cup holder separately, but I am so happy with it. I have purchased a few umbrella strollers to have a lightweight option, but when I use them, I just miss my BOB! This comes in a variety of colors: Orange, plum, navy. However, as you can see, I love Black and Grey! Gender neutral and easy to clean!

Infant & Toddler Car seat: Maxi Cosi 'Pria 70' Car Seat $249.99 at Nordstrom. Fits 9-70 lbs. Rear and forward facing, with side impact protection. Ryder started getting a little restless in his infant car seat, and was growing so fast, I figured it was time for a new one. It looked so comfortable in the pictures, but its even better in person! The material is amazingly soft, I wish I could sit in it! Ryder is a happy little baby on car rides now!

Adorable and "Eco-Friendly" Diapers

The Honest company, founded by Jessica Alba has THE CUTEST diapers. My husband calls them "designer diapers". There are tons of different prints for boys and girls. They even come in plain white! I did a free trail on their website that was only $5.95 for shipping and they gave me this amazing box of travel size lotion, body wash, balm, etc. I also did the trial of diapers and wipes so I could try them out and see the quality before purchasing. The diapers fit my son perfectly. Not only are these diapers adorable and "eco-friendly" , they are also:

  • Plant-based (PLA) inner & outer layers — gentle on your baby's bottom
  • Sustainably harvested pulp - NO chlorine processing or harsh chemical bleaches
  • Natural citrus & chlorophyll odor-inhibitors
  • Bio-based wheat/corn blend in super-absorbent core — less sodium polyacrylate
  • Yes, diapers can be fun too! Cute, stylish designs for girls & boys — updated seasonally!Never miss out.
  • Comfy-stretch side panels & soft, refastenable tabs for perfect fit & wigglability!
  • Securely fitting moisture barrier cuffs prevent leakage & blowouts — fewer accidents, less laundry!
  • Simply pure — NO risky fragrances, lotions, or latex
  • Gentle, safe, and non-irritating for the most sensitive skin

The Diaper Bag

Petunia Pickle Bottom has mastered the diaper bag! I absolutely love my "boxy backpack". It comes with a long cross-body strap that you can drape over your stroller handles! It also has straps to use as a backpack. There are outside pockets for bottles and tons of pockets for organization on the inside. My favorite feature is the diaper changing pad that is attached and unzips from the outside of the bag. That section also has diaper/wipe pockets, as well as a tiny little pocket I use for binkies. I carry mine around every day. It is great quality, durable, fashionable, and they are worth every penny!

The black is a Nordstom exclusive $179
**Black is great because my hubby doesn't mind carrying it! :)

Super cute new Fall color featured on the Petunia Pickle Bottom site. Gender Neutral color. Comes in 2 sizes and lots of different designs. The glazed fabric easily wipes clean!

Changing pad is attached so you don't lose it!

Where's the boy stuff?!

Hi!

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Angela. I'm a wife and a stay at home mom of a little boy named Ryder. People tell you kids grow up fast, but you never realize "how fast" it actually is until you experience it with your own little one.

I've always wanted a baby to take care of, love, and most importantly: dress up like my barbies! Haha. When I first became pregnant, I found out the gender as soon as I could. I couldn't wait to start shopping for clothes, decorate the nursery, etc. When I found out it was a boy, and was shopping for him, I was so frustrated. There is so much girl stuff and you can find it EVERYWHERE! But most of the boy stuff I found was outdated or dorky looking. I wanted to dress him up like a "mini me" of my husband. After long hours of tedious searching, I learned where to find cute boy and gender neutral stuff. There's no reason a little boy can't be just as stylish as little girls out there.

This blog isn't just for mamas of boys. I' will admit, I may be a "little biased" because I have a boy, but I promise to post tons of cute girl stuff too! Also, my accesories/gear will always be gender neutral since I am planning on having another baby one day, which may or may not be a boy.

I'll share my finds, reviews and suggestions with you, and I would love to hear your thoughts! Please comment or e-mail me any feedback. I hope this blog will help you find the perfect items for your little one!!!

Angela
